Our mission is to create, through comprehensive and coordinated program
activities, a safe climate of awareness so self-directed social change toward
the elimination of unemployment, HIV/AIDS, drug addiction and poverty can
take place on the part of individuals and families living in Tacoma/Pierce
County, WA.

HIV/AIDS has become one of the leading causes of death among
African Americans and People of Color in the United States.
Macedonia MBC Operation Hope partners with the Tacoma/Pierce County
Health Department to provide HIV testing and prevention counseling to those
hardest hit. African American Women under 30 who have sex with men,
Women over 30 who use injection drugs or may have sex with men who inject
drugs and Hispanic/Latino men who have sex with men and may have sex with
women. To help compliment this service Macedonia has incorporated two
evidence based programs Safety Counts and Holistic Health Recovery
Program
All HIV tests provided free of charge and testing is available for everyone,no
blood, no mess.
